What is the point of the VCF?
The VCF is a sea of beacons held aloft by a growing throng of people, shining ever more brightly and impossible to ignore.
The ever rising and never claimed ‘prize‘ highlights the factual total absence of any evidence for the posited ‘viruses’ whose genomes are claimed to be found by the purely creative in silico process of assembly.
Nobody profits here. No pay wall. No movement. No grifting.
Just a self-identified set of individuals saying,
“We call your bluff”
1) For those aware that viruses are literally fictions
Pledge £100 or more. £1000 is popular, if you are confident enough that you understand the pseudoscience of virology for what it is, you will realise there’s little chance anyone will claim either this or the Unicorn Confirmation Fund at any time.
Above £1000 requires a short video confirming clearly commitment and resources to pay. (On the day hell freezes over).

2) For those who think they have evidence viruses do exist
If you think you have evidence that viruses as defined below exist you may choose to accept the challenge.
Supply a minimal set of such evidence (no redundant evidence) that passes The Rule and the money is yours. Congratulations. You will have single-handedly killed the No Virus Evidence non-movement.
If you take the challenge and it is shown it falls foul of The Rule, then the forfeit which you agree in advance is to pledge to the fund yourself.
A minimum amount of £1000.
You will probably never have to pay it,
unless, miracle of miracles, someone does find evidence.
What is a virus?
A virus is something that exists in the form of virions.
The modern (1953) definition of a virion is a genetic fragment, wrapped in a protein coat.
It is transmissible, replication-competent (via cell machinery) and pathogenic (destroying the host cell and releasing more copies of itself.)
It has a genome ‘calculated’ via deep metagenomic sequencing.
A metagenome is a mixed soup of genetic material.

The claim is by chopping these up into reads, millions of lego-like bits can be pieced together in silico to build ‘the genome’ of ‘a particular virus’ that was originally in the soup before chopping. Many ‘solutions’ are found and after alterations, insertions and deletions - in line with previous genomes from the bank (all made the same way) - one is chosen to be ‘the genome’.
With the Fan Wu paper, SARS COV-II it was the longest.
The chances of such a creation existing in the real world seems astronomically small.
Nonetheless it is claimed they do.
To prove they do you will only have to follow the one rule that defines the scientific method.
The Rule
Never pretend to know what you don’t
The existence of the virus as defined above must actually be established. Not as a story. As a real physical thing with the properties claimed.
The following is a summary of the objections your evidence must surmount.
No circular reasoning or reification fallacies are allowed in true science. Specifically:
The Space Badger Hurdle
ANY ARGUMENT THAT EQUALLY SHOWS THE EXISTENCE OF SPACE BADGERS AS IT SHOWS THE EXISTENCE OF VIRUSES IS CLEARLY SPECIOUS.

Inverting implication ⛔️
It’s easy to invent a story, and state some implications that would follow if it were true.
It is a fundamental fact of logic that the implication sign is not reversible.
The existence of Santa as usually ‘defined’ implies presents appearing under the tree.
Finding presents under a tree is NOT proof that Santa exists.
The Reification fallacy
I may claim illness is caused by sub-microscopic space-ships flown by space badgers. The space ships can destroy cells with their lasers from the inside.
I take some fluid from someone ill and say
Well then, there must be space badgers in here.
I add it to a poisoned starved tissue sample. I see CPE occurs after a few days.
I cannot use this evidence as proof that the space-badgers were there in the gloop…
…then take incredibly destructive electron micrographs, point to splodges and say “there’s the spaceship just coming out”
Then make computer model pictures of gleaming spaceships with little badger faces in the window using … modelling.
If I did so I’d be rightly called a fool.
Substitute virus for space-badger and the situation is IDENTICAL.
Is it not? Then why not?
How to show existence and function
The usual iron-clad way is to
isolate something in a purified form
as an independent variable
and then do positive and negative controls along with the cause and effect experiments.
This would mean proper purification of the virus.
In no other discipline does the meaning of isolation mean ‘produce a complex mixed environment that our object is “deduced” to be in.’
“We have isolated the criminal. He’s in Cumbria.”
“I have isolated the cause of the problem. It’s something in the engine.”
Many excuses are given for the impossibility of purifying a virus
You can’t purify it and make a clear independent variable? For reasons X, Y and Z?
Fine. Find another way to establish the existence of the virus as a fact not a story.
Science is only about not pretending to know what you don’t.
If you can find a logically solid argument that demonstrates the existence of viruses without purification, all is well. I can’t imagine how but bring it on.
Ejecting the CPE argument
Adding gloop from a sick person to the tissue-culture soup and reducing BFS to 5% or so and CPE occurs.
Ok.
What if you don’t add gloop from a sick person? Did you try that?
In John Enders’ 1954 foundational paper he did try that. The same CPE occured.
Why was that not the end of modern (genetic) virology?
Not only is the reification fallacy used…
to conjure up an alleged virion in sick gloop that ‘causes’ more CPE…
…sick gloop doesn’t even cause more CPE anyway!
How did “isolation” experiments continue??
By abandoning control experiments in all seven stages from that point on.
Stefan Lanka and the VCSP
Luckily Stefan Lanka decided to do some pretty comprehensive control experiments.
And Jamie Andrews and the The Virology Controls Studies Project have gone even further especially in terms of filming, documenting, and with meticulous positive and negative controls.
Hang on! If there’s no independent variable how can you do a control experiment?
Here is the confusion ‘splitting’ the No Virus Evidence non-movement
Hypothesis: Something in the sick person’s gloop increases CPE.
Independent Variable: Sick person’s gloop.
Negative control: No gloop
Result: identical CPE
These control experiment falsify both Space Badgers and Viruses as an agent in sick person’s gloop that causes increased CPE.
Because there is none.
“Building the Genome”
Deep metagenomic sequencing is a farce.
It’s like ripping up every book in a library into small phrases, piecing them together in every possible way to produce a book never seen before that you think might have been in the library about which you know nothing at all.
Numerous ‘solutions’
Many possibilities are offered by the programs used - which are unsurprisingly seeded in certain directions based on previous genomes built the same way.
Alterations to fit expectation
Then the chosen book is altered, with insertions and deletions to fit other books constructed the same way.
No original sequenced genome of any virus
Where was “patient zero” ? When was one of these genomes actually demonstrated to exist in reality?
Never. Models built on models.
Or prove this wrong.
No excuses
Constant excuses about the difficulty of various necessary scientific steps would not cut it in the case of my brand new Space Badger hypothesis.
It would have to pass proper scientific hurdles.
Transmission of disease by material contagion is itself a brand new theory - a few hundred years old.
Never ‘noticed’ for millenia
For 6000 years, no culture in the world ‘noticed’ people catching a cold. How likely do you think it is that if this really were a significant causative thing, it would not have been picked up?
220 years of zero success transmission experiments
Transmission experiments have been performed almost since the beginning of the pathogen hypothesis with zero successes.
Scurvy - interpreting reality through germ theory eyes
Scurvy was ‘known’ to be infectious for half a century - falsely.
Why? Exactly the same reasons anyone looking through pathogen eyes always sees contagion.
What evidence for transmission of disease are you offering that differs from that used to ‘reason’ (through the perceptual lens of the recent pathogen belief) that scurvy was contagious?
Saving the crucial point until last
Experiments on tissue cultures, separated from a host, artificially kept alive with Bovine Foetal Serum (later withheld), flooded with antibiotics and many other things
CANNOT BE EXTRAPOLATED TO LIVING CREATURES.
This is the key point made by Dr Sam Bailey (through whose work my awareness on this topic started) her husband Mark @Mike Stone et al.
You can’t extrapolate from in vitro to in vivo
The control experiments destroy all notions of pathogens in sick gloop causing CPE.
But even if they had shown a change, which they didn’t,
THIS COULD NOT THEN HAVE BEEN APPLIED TO A LIVING ORGANISM ANYWAY!
In Vivo - ZERO EVIDENCE
How many times has a virus been seen in living tissue, in vivo? Or in fresh snot from someone at death’s door?
Never.
Because,
“There’s not enough.”
“They hide in the cells”
This is not credible.
There are supposedly billions. They don’t use a transporter beam to get into the cells (though interestingly, the Space Badgers do)
Some must be visible in snot occasionally?
Never ever EVER?
Is this credible?
If the BFS is not reduced to starvation levels, the CPE simply does not occur with gloop added - though the pathogens are alleged to attack healthy tissue.
Is this credible?
Just a story - pink stuff
Viruses are pure fiction, a fantasy invented to try and rescue a failing Germ Theory.
Never seen.
No evidence of transmission.
Genomes slapped together like a nursery school craft table.
